Dallas Chapter

Dallas Chapter is a member of Region VIII of the National Organization of 14 regions. The Region has 15 Chapters. We are also part of the Texas Department made up of 13 Chapters. The Dallas Chapter and the Corpus Chapter are the two oldest, with Dallas Chapter Chartered in October 1948. The National has some 140 Chapters around the country. The National Organization and Regions hold meetings during the year. Each year the National Convention is held with one or several local Chapters acting as the host. The same goes for the regions.

• 2009 Region VIII Southwest Leadership Conferences:

  Five to six students from each conference are selected by staff and their peers as outstanding participants and our honored at a luncheon in September by the chapter with school administrators and parents asked to attend.
